In an insightful display of strength and confidence, model slash actress Liberty Ross reveals her style secrets, her acting endeavors, and her passion for fashion to Net-a-porters’ The Edit. Seen in the magazine modelling Alexander McQueen, Marc Jacobs, and Erdem – among other noted designers – the gorgeous heroine opens up about her unfortunately public divorce, and how fashion has helped her to overcome her insecurities; heightening her now glowing confidence.

Her high-powered return to the world of fashion found her taking centre stage at Alexander Wang’s Spring 2013 Show upon a personal request by the celebrated designer. Furthering her revived career, Ross’s campaign in The Edit entitled “Lady of Liberty” accentuates soft colours and feminine silhouettes, with an undertone of sensuality. This ladylike collection of enviable garments encapsulates the style and personality of Ross herself, as she explains – after arming herself with her favorite Alaia heels and a fitted Alexander McQueen dress – “I’m ready, I’m in control”.

Taking a look into the style savvy mind of Liberty Ross, she reveals how “my style has evolved over the past year in harmony with the changes in my life”. The demure ensembles and structured silhouettes she now wears are the foundation for her self-assured, confident outlook. Still fresh and flirty, for a more feminine feeling she opts for lavish jewelry, and a romantic scent.

Whilst style is important, comfortable clothing is a must; “In my book”, the model explains, “comfort translates to confidence”. Her bravery shines through as she expands this statement to include six-inch heels, a less endearing option than a comfortable Alexander Wang tee shirt no doubt.

Simplicity and flirtatious feminine garments appear to capture the style of Liberty Ross, whilst maintaining a sharp, powerful edge. Throughout her divorce, which unfortunately lent itself to the public eye, her style sustained trim and fierce. Now seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, Ross has blasted herself back into the spotlight with her old, goddess like reputation. Her down to earth nature, romantic style, and enviable body make her unstoppable, as she retains her heart-warming motto “Live, Love, Laugh”.
