Free People have become well known for their video campaigns, a creative way of showcasing their latest collection, while exploring the concept of love from different angles. For their December catalogue, they’ve decided to create a mini movie about holiday love story, entitled The Cabin.

Set in a cozy cabin in Maine, the film stars Jacques Naude and Noot Seear as a couple working out where their relationship is going. Naude, a videographer, discovers film from their past, from a time where they were facing a life decision which was threatening to end their relationship. To escape, the couple decide to head to a cabin in Maine where their love first began.

The movie captures their romance unfolding amongst the serenity of nature, and the viewer can see that their love is genuine. As the couple explore the beautiful wilderness, calm lakes and dirt roads, the new collection blends in seamlessly with their surrounds. Ripped jeans, loose varsity inspired t-shirts, boho inspired peasants tops, paisley scarves and felt fedoras, all perfect for a relaxing weekend.

Watch the video below to find out what happens with Naude and Seear, and visit Free People to shop the look. You might be inspired to run away for your own weekend in the woods.
