Country Road has once again teamed up with the Australian Red Cross for a unique campaign designed to reduce its impact on the environment. Launching today, the five day Donate Clothes to Win campaign is part of Country Road’s campaign which encourages their customers to have a social conscience by donating pre-loved Country Road pieces to the Red Cross. By donating, customers go into the chance to win a $100 Country Road gift card, with 5 lucky winner drawn each day. The more a person donates, the greater their chance of winning. Speaking about the campaign, Country Road Managing Director Sophie Holt said “Donate Clothes to Win helps reinforce our focus on environmental and social responsibility. It educates our customers on the importance of reducing landfill through recycling, while raising funds for the Red Cross to continue their important work.”

Red Cross General manager for Strategy and Support Commercial Kate Dear, said it was important to support this great cause as “Red Cross Shops help support the everyday work of Red Cross including disaster relief and recovery, daily phone calls to check on elderly people living alone, and nutritious breakfasts for schoolchildren who need a healthy start to the day.”
