How do you prep before a night out?

Firstly, there has to be music on. I usually do my makeup first, then hair and finally outfit. Before makeup, I’ll use a Chanel cleanser, toner, serum and moisturiser and I love this process as it leaves my skin looking dewier. Also before a night out, I mix Elle MacPherson’s Super Elixir with coconut water and that takes care of my body from the inside out with nutrients.

What is your go to hairstyle/makeup look for a night out?

I’m pretty low key, but I love doing a smokey look or a cat eye with a bold lip – such as Mac’s Ruby Woo lipstick or YSL’s Rouge Pur Couture lipstick in L’Orange. Then I usually leave my hair wavy.

When you’re going out, what are your must have items in your bag?

Phone is a must. But I also like keeping Paw Paw cream and a concealer wand for touching up.

Do you have any tips for looking fresh all night long?

I believe that investing in a long wearing foundation is imperative – otherwise you’re wasting time and product when you reapply it. If you have your hair down, bring a hair tie in case your hair gets flat and sweaty.

Your biggest fashion faux pas?

Back when Mariah Carey’s hit song Heartbreaker came out and she wore those jeans with the frayed waistband, I thought it was the coolest thing ever and so I ripped and frayed every single pair of my jeans. A recent one was just the other week when I was told that my all white suit and pants was a carbon copy of Michael Jackson’s outfit from Smooth Criminal.

What designers are you currently loving and why?

I am absolutely obsessed with Michael Lo Sordo because he does an amazing 90’s minimalistic look. I also love Maticevski for his fun and innovative style. Maurie and Eve is also a fantastic brand since they have a high fashion cut but a really low price point.

Favourite places to shop:

Since I live in the city, I love that Emporium houses all of my favourite designers there and that it’s joined to David Jones and Myer – it’s all in one stop and so convenient! I also like shopping at M.VE Boutique because they also house a lot of my favourite labels. But I have really moved to online shopping and I absolutely love Net-a-Porter.

Where do you look for style inspiration?

It’s more of a vibe, but recently I’ve been really into cami dresses – especially the Calvin Klein’s cami dresses with that 90’s vibe. I get most of my inspiration from pop culture, like if I watch a movie I will try to match a vibe to it and get my style from that.
