American Crew is synonymous with handsome men with beautifully styled hair. So it’s not surprise that the American Crew: FACE OFF Global Men’s Styling event was filled with stylish men, and women who had gathered to see the Top 20 finalists in this Australia-wide search for the best Men’s style for 2013, and find out who would win the coveted award.
The FACE OFF Competition was established here on our shores in 2005 by the world’s leading men’s grooming brand American Crew, and has since caught the eye of men’s hair stylists worldwide. Participants from all over the country submitted their best efforts for the judges: Nick Smith-Editor In Chief GQ, Benji Hart-Director London Mgment Model Agency, Hayley Miller-Publisher Culture Magazine, American CREW All Stars Gary McKenzie, Daniel Ravech, Chris Dunkley and Phoenix Thomson. The ultimate men’s styling competition winner received a trip to LA to meet the winners from other countries participating in the FACE OFF event, and goes on to compete on the world stage at the inaugural global FACE OFF awards in January 2013.
The winner of the evening was Dean Tsopanis from BIBA, whose styling set him above the rest. In addition to the trip to LA to compete for the global FACE OFF award, Dean will style shoots for GQ and Culture magazines as well being featured on the cover of the 2013 American Crew FACE OFF magazine.

Other winners included Model of the Year, Jimi Dean and who was styled by Lee Black of Mow Hair in Queensland. Lee Black also received the Arthur Galan Fashion Award of the evening as well. 
The evening’s proceedings included a runway of Arthur Galan’s Summer 12/13 collection. Guests were treated to a sophisticated yet fun collection of what men should be wearing this summer.
