2014 MELBOURNE FESTIVAL FOOD & WINE

The Melbourne Festival kicks off this week and along with the various Arts and Music activities, foodies are also spoilt for choice when it comes to the festival.

The Foxtel Festival Hub will be located next to the Melbourne arts precinct, and is equal parts pop-up bar performance space, dining destination and dance floor, a place to welcome Melburnians throughout the Festival, from midday until long after the final curtain has dropped.
More than just a venue, this is a whole new drinking and dining destination. Visitors can drop in to the al fresco bar and indulge in a delectable array of local and international beers, wines, ciders and spirits, as well as mouthwatering dishes and snacks.

There are regular food and wine workshops and tastings with the very best wine makers, mixologists, baristas and sommeliers from Kirin, MOJO Winemakers, Daylesford and Hepburn Mineral Springs and Toby’s Estate Coffee Roasters.

There are also opportunities to take part in a myriad of workshop and tasting.

The Kirin Bit.Fall Bar is providing a sanctuary of sophistication for festival attendees to enjoy. Grab a Kirin beer or cider and relax on our comfy lounges whilst taking in the mesmerising displays from Kirin Bit.Fall.

MOJO are in the process of launching a new project called Studio MOJO, engaging all different types of artists to collaborate with them on their next vintage wine labels.  As part of the partnership with Melbourne Festival, Mojo will be incorporating the Studio Mojo collaborations with an activation at the Festival Hub. This activation will be a live art experience communicating the link between Mojo Winemakers, its relationship with the arts and a local artist.

From the gracious gift of natural mineral water sourced from our spring in the idyllic Daylesford region (Victoria, Australia), the Daylesford & Hepburn Mineral Springs Co. crafts a range of balanced, considered drinks with pure flavours and ingredients that impart a story of their sense of place.
