Sometimes fashion people have the tendency to take themselves too seriously, which is why it was very refreshing to preview the movie Dressed for Summer 2012, hosted by the hilarious Mademoiselle Agnes. Hosted by the wonderful James Nolen, Film Programmer at ACMI, Dressed for Summer covered all the action at the major Spring/Summer 12 shows. From Louis Vuitton’s beautiful carousel to collapsing benches at Balenciaga, Dressed For Summer had it all.

The lovely James Nolen

As well as Dressed For Summer 2012, ACMI will be showing fantastic upcoming short fashion films in No Home 12 and an array of fashion photographers such as the legendary Bill Cunningham and David Bailey on film in Click!.

For a different take on fashion, make sure you check out the fantastic films on show at ACMI, not just during LMFF, but all year round!

Thank you to James Nolen for allowing Couturing to preview this wonderful movie!
