Macaron king Adriano Zumbo is kicking things off in 2016 with some noise! Commencing mid-January, on Friday and Saturday evenings Zumbo will transform his South Yarra high tea salon Fancy Nance into the Zumbo Dessert Bar. Featuring a rotating line up of Melbourne DJs, cocktail menu and a soft serve machine – it’s part dessert bar, part disco.
Those with a sweet tooth can choose between a 3 or 5 course set menu, or for a more casual evening select a dessert or two from the à la carte offering. The menu has been created by Zumbo and Fancy Nance Head Chef Daniel Texter (former Executive Pastry Chef of Noma). Punters should expect the unexpected, including a rather Pollock looking creation titled Milk, Milk, Milk and Figs.
The first Zumbo Dessert Bar session kicks off on Friday the 15th January with DJ Moonshine on the decks (Cookie, The Toff & Revolver). That’s one sweet party.
