The humble cheeseburger has come a long way in Australia and we’re celebrating National Cheeseburger day this Sunday 18 September at some of our favourite places across Melbourne.

Huxtaburger fans rejoice! Guests can enjoy FREE regular chips with any Cheesus or Baby Cheesus purchase all day. The Huxta cheeseburger sees two beef patties layered with double cheese, cheesy mayo, mustard, tomato sauce and pickles.

Melburnians and beyond can fulfil all their burger fantasies at QT Melbourne’s newly launched Pascale Bar and Grill with The Kaiser Burger, two thin beef patties topped with onions, ox heart tomato, and Coney Island piccadilly. And for even more cheesy goodness, take up the option to add melted raclette or roquefort cheese.

Why not celebrate at Grosvenor Hotel’s St Kilda Burger Bar or within the pub itself, indulging in a thick hand pressed, 100 percent grass-fed beef patty with double cheese, pickles and house ketchup.
Or try the Cheeseburger at Goody’s Burger House, the new restaurant on Lonsdale Street in Melbourne’s CBD. The first store outside Europe, the burger brings its extensive range of burgers to our shores with fresh low fat content beef patties and home made sauce.

With so many places to celebrate this wonderous food day, there’s no excuse not to have a cheeseburger to celebrate! Cheers!
