The stars came out to celebrate the launch of Myer’s AW14 runway show on Thursday in Melbourne’s Mural Hall.

Myer’s ambassadors did the company proud, all donning brands from Myer’s impressive stable of  top Australian designers. Jennifer Hawkins wore the colour of the season, black, in the form of a Yeojin Bae jumpsuit, which she brightened up with a bold clutch. Kris Smith cut a fine figure in a tux from Brent Wilson, with partner Madelain King showing off her curves in Charlie Brown. Myer’s newest face Kate Peck also donned black, choosing a knitted dress from Ellery.

Only a couple of weeks after giving birth to daughter Billie, Rebecca Judd looked gorgeous in an off-the-shoulder custom gown from the makers of her wedding dress, J’Aton Couture. Lauren Phillips paired her classic Arthur Galan frock with a beautiful top knot and bright red lips. Laura Dundovic glowed in an elegant strapless metallic dress by Toni Maticevksi.

Joining them on the red carpet was former Miss Universe Australia Scherri-Lee Biggs, wearing a daring sheer Morrison top, paired with a leather skirt. The face of Politix soccer star Harry Kewell was accompanied by his wife Sheree who stood out in hot pink. Prime Minister Tony Abbott’s daughters Bridget and Frances looked at home the on the black carpet, both wearing figure hugging dresses in shades of blue.

Actress Melanie Vallejo, model Sophie Van Den Akker and Kate Waterhouse also walked the black carpet with designers Alex Perry, Aurelio Costarella, Wayne Cooper and Toni Maticevski to celebrate the launch of the Autumn/Winter collections.
