Spring Brings a Splash of Colour

Day two of Melbourne Spring Fashion Week burst with colour at the City Square Wittner Runway Show. Although the focus was on the shoes, there was no denying the beauty on the runway.

None of the looks on the runway would be complete without the beautiful arrangements of hair and makeup. Today the girls sported a futuristic but chic look with a high pulled back ponytail and a bold array of eye shadows. The use of neutral skin tones made way for the dramatic cobalt blues, greens and pinks. Their eyes were finished with a beautiful black liner that gave the futuristic look a perfect finish. A deep pink rouge and pink lipstick were used to finish the look. This ensured that attention was not taken away form the eyes and not mention the shoes.

Although the colours on the runway were bold, the range of fashion on show ranges from pretty little spring dresses to sparkly evening gowns. The shoes complemented the outfits to provide a striking look overall.

The pulled back up-do was a perfect fit for each of the ensembles, allowing the makeup artists to showcase the splash of eye colour.

With the hair being classically simple, the style could be worn on any occasion. Whether you have a day outing or an evening cocktail party, this ponytail will provide a sophisticated, yet simple look.

Today’s show was just a glimpse of what we are going to see for the rest of the week so make sure you don’t miss any of the action.
