She’s got one of the best bodies in Hollywood and now Kate Hudson is encouraging women everywhere to get fit like her with her new exercise line Fabletics. “The most exciting part about co-founding this line is creating looks and pieces for every woman and every body type; things women can feel good in all day,” says Hudson. “At Fabletics, we believe all women should be able to have hip styles and amazing quality at prices that won’t break the bank.”

Activewear lines have become all the rage in recent times. Gone are the days of daggy trackpants and ripped sweatshirts. Instead they have been replaced with cutout crop tops, leopard print leggings and cooler than cool hoodies. Unfortunately, with the upgrade in designs has come with a hefty price tag. If you want to look good while exercise, it will now come at a cost. This is one of the reasons Hudson co-founded Fabletics. “I am so excited to share this amazing activewear line with you”, she says. I believe workout wear should be high quality, affordable,  and take you way beyond the gym. I knew other women were looking for the same thing, and that’s why I co-founded Fabletics.”

Hudson believes by caring about what you wear when you workout, you will be more likely to want to get fit. “If you are going to be active, it starts with putting on your clothes,’ she said. ‘If you feel good in them you might want to show up to the spin class or yoga class.”

Since the launch of the line last year, Hudson has become a lot more creative with the design process. “We wanted to see how women responded to our basics and once we saw what’s working, we started to have more fun with prints and getting more fashion forward. I love the real colorful prints. I’m also really excited about our open back tees. They’re a little bit more loose.”

So what tips does Hudson have for keeping fit? “I’m a DVD girl. I always go back to the Brazilian Butt lift DVD, which is really fun and a good workout for when you’re traveling. You can follow the program. Even if you are a mom, and you have a million things to do and the kids are at school, I love the DVDs. They make it hard to say you didn’t have the time. Music for me is also one of the most motivating factors, maybe because I danced for a long time as a hobby.”
