During these glorious warmer months, Melbourne is abuzz with a multitude of events and entertainment. Fed Square Live returns in 2013 with a stellar line up. Presented by their major partner The Push, as well as Yamaha, Triple J, and Everguide, it’s ‘all happening’ every Thursday until the end of January (excluding the week of Australia Day when it is being held on Australia Day-Saturday the 26th).

Kicking off this Thursday the 17th from 6pm, is five-piece indie/folk band The Paper Kites, who entered the music scene via Triple J Unearthed and gained immense popularity with their EP Woodland. The Paper Kite’s indulgent, intricate sounds will easily win the crowd over.

As the crowd turns to patriotism on Australia Day, Aussie born and bred hiphop artists Diafix and Chance Waters will be there to rev the crowd and put you into the partying spirit.

Then to wind down Fed Square live for 2013, indie pop-rock band, Hungry Kids of Hungary, who have had continuous success over the past couple of years from their first hit ‘Set It Right’ and will be excited to debut their new single Twin Cities. Joining them is winner of Triple J’s Unearthed High competition, Asta, who won voters over with her unique voice and catchy song ‘My Heart’s On Fire.’

Fed Square Live is an outdoor event that’s free for all ages. Bring a rug or blanket to make it a little more homey and get comfortable supporting some stellar Australian music.
