Last Friday night saw the launch of talented young designer Anna Campbell‘s second boutique in the bridal haven of High Street, Armadale.
Campbell’s designs are soft and romantic, elegant, typically feminine, yet still modern -she has a fresh and youthful interpretation of the wedding dress that shows in the execution of her designs. Luxurious fabrics, laces and clusters of sparkling embellishments make her pieces feel loved, cared for and extra special -just like a bride should feel on her wedding day. It would only be appropriate then that the opening of her store would embrace that elegance and femininity: pretty pastel macaroons, dainty cupcakes, chandeliers and sparkling wine made sure it did.
The dresses themselves were mesmerizing. The dainty and decorated necklines, floaty and feminine fabrics, delicately jeweled backs were all enchanting and all beautiful.
The store is fresh and white featuring Victorian inspired decor, complete with chandeliers and gilded mirrors. Adding a personal touch to the layout are some of Campbell’s framed design sketches and books featuring images of Anna Campbell brides
The charm of this new boutique and the designs it houses is undeniable. Anna Campbell reminds us of the allure of romance, the delicacy of glamour and most importantly, that elegance is always understated.
You can visit the new boutique at 1014 High Street, Armadale and open Tuesday – Friday 10am to 5pm and Saturdays 11am – 3pm.
