Global fashion giant UNIQLO has unveiled the latest chapter of UNIQLO : C, the special line designed by British fashion visionary Clare Waight Keller. Renowned for her elegant yet accessible approach to everyday dressing, Waight Keller’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection redefines the modern urban wardrobe through innovative materials, clean tailoring, and effortless versatility. At its core is nylon—the original sportswear fabric—reimagined with a feather-light, breathable, and fluid finish that elevates the everyday uniform with a touch of quiet luxury.
Speaking about her vision, Waight Keller explained: “This Spring I wanted to embrace two key elements for the new UNIQLO : C collection. The first of which was Nylon. In recent years there has been a dominance of polyester in sportswear and daywear, it’s even used in luxury ready-to-wear. I wanted to return to sportswear’s roots using the cool touch and fluid finish of nylon. Working this fabric in dress volumes, soft shirting as well as running shorts and vests creates a new modernity in these shapes and a sporty feel to the silhouette. Secondly colour was a great component to play with in this fabric. The subtle softness of even the most intense orange makes for a beautiful tonal richness in these shapes.”
That balance of sophistication and functionality runs throughout the collection. New stylings blur the line between casual and formal—think men’s wide-fit cargo shorts paired with crisp shirting, or lightweight AirSense double-breasted jackets styled with women’s Bermuda or wide pants for a sleek summer tailoring effect. Functional nylon shines across women’s gathered dresses, vests, gear shorts, and sporty hooded pullovers in refined patterns. Accessories add the final polish, with puffy shoulder bags, strap sandals, and slide sandals in nylon completing the line-up.
