Akira presented a stunning collection of dresses and gowns perfectly demonstrating the masterful skill which has made him one of Australia’s most successful designers.

 

Dividing his installation into elegant bridal gowns with embellishments and delicate lace appliques, and dresses heavy with Japanese influences such as cranes, cherry blossoms and stunning paper collars resembling vibrant sea life.

 

Models were made-up with beautiful flawless foundation and bright red lips. Hair was slicked back with some models wearing stunning textured headpieces.

 

The platform shoes were decorated with beautiful Japanese inspired prints, with neutral coloured straps.
