Whilst Couturing was up in Sydney on whirlwind press tour this week, we were delighted to visit the girls at Agent25 and be invited to a very imtimate launch with Najo – makers of some of the most divine Mexican inspired jewellery. Founder, Jo Tory, explained that the inspiration for the company had started some 20 years ago whilst living in Mexico. Amazed by the quality of silver that was being created, Jo decided to bring it to Australia.

Two extraordinary decades later, Jo and her wonderful team, have just dropped two new collections. The first, which takes the company in a new direction, is Rapture. These gorgeous customisable leather bracelets can be matched with any of the charms from the Najo collections and was the answer to creating an accesory you can build upon. The leather is so delightfully soft, I am dying to get my hands on a red band! Their second collection, Isis, is a range of accesories employing the same traditional Mexican aesthetic with clean lines and flawless finish however drawing new inspiration from the Ancient Egyptians.

Such a beautiful afternoon, it was a pleasure to view the latest collections in such a gorgeous setting as Beach Burrito. To top it all off, I am now also obsessed with Tequila Espolon, a bottle of Mexican tequila all guests were gifted with, just the Mexican Day of the Dead cover is plenty of amazing for me! Thank you Agent25 and Najo for a wonderful afternoon.
