LIFEwithBIRD have release their Spring 2015 collection, Residence, taking influence from contemporary interiors and exploring the relationship between structure and aesthetic. ‘Residence’ was born from the influence of the art deco furnishings, eccentric wallpapers and intricate mosaic tiles that Kelly Wearstler is renowned for. Designers Bridget McCall and Nicholas Van Messner refine this concept by inputting a sense of individual style that interprets interior design without looking or feeling forced. The effect is an aesthetic that is confidence, chic and most of all, effortless.

Through considered silhouettes and fabrications, the collection is defined by its fusion of craftsmanship and detail with a sense of refined ease. The colour palette is dark, muted, with a bright blue, purple and fuchsia digital print adding drama. Silhouettes are relaxed and effortlessly cool, maintaining the understated elegance we’ve come to expect from the label. A contemporary aesthetic is achieved through unique and original designs, with an emphasis on tailoring and the use of custom developed luxury fabrics. Italian metallic tweed jacquards, high destiny mesh and bonded crepe sateens create a refined collection of effortless desirability.

In essence, the ‘Residence’ collection is the definitive edit of refined tailoring and elevated classics.
