Going against the Graine

Designer Anna Humphrey used her years of experienced in the fashion and leather industry in both Australia and abroad to create luxury leather label Graine. Focusing on creating designs from scratch, rather than replicating products.

Each piece is designed and handmade in Melbourne from 100% leather, predominantly sourced from the tanning region of Tuscany, northern Italy.

Humphrey’s has focused the collection on being functional and fashionable. Describing the collection, Humphrey said “each piece is fresh, simplistic and unlined so as to expose the natural materials – but most importantly they are unique – each Graine product has a subtle point of difference, with no two pieces ever the same and only a small scattering of pieces made for each range.”

Each piece is designed to be androgynous and can be used by both men and women.

Graine products are available to be purchased online at www.graine.com.au. All products come with an iconic leather Graine swing tag, a Graine organic cotton carry bag and free delivery.

To celebrate the launch of Graine, Couturing are giving away 2 Top of the Town cardholders made from Italian leather with Oatmeal stitching. The leather is naturally oiled to give it its rich clean texture. A wax finish is applied at the final stages to create a tonal effect to the finished product.
