The name Furla is synonymous with luxury. The concept is not only present in its high-end leather goods, but it is carried through to the opulent interiors in its many stores around the globe. Nabbing a prime position in Australia’s newest shopping mecca Emporium Melbourne, Furla’s flagship store offers a lesson in grandeur. Boasting 10 square meters of pure luxury, the new Melbourne space is  the largest Furla store in the Asia Pacific region and is home to a wealth of designer pieces, designed to tempt every fashion lover. Taking the latest interior concept straight from the stores in Europe, the glowing golden aesthetic forms the perfect backdrop to display Furla’s latest collections.

A blend of classic and modern facets, the store combines Italian marble detailing, natural rosewood and opalescent glass and brass, in a collision of sophistication and beauty. Stand out features include the architectural elements inspired by the beautifully restored 18th century Villa in Bologna which is currently home to Furla’s headquarters.

“I am proud to present the Furla Asia Pacific flagship to the Australian market. The store, which represents Furla on a world-class scale not only embodies the Furla brand qualities, but also works to highlight the beautiful craftsmanship and quality of Furla leather goods. It has been my pleasure to work with the Luxury Retail Group on making the store a reality, and look forward to Furla being a part of the Emporium Melbourne precinct” said Eraldo Poletto, Global CEO of Furla.

Speaking about the new store, Nelson Mair, CEO of Luxury Retail Group (license holder of Furla Australia) said “Together with the support of Furla’s Global CEO Mr Poletto, we have been able to create a store which is indicative of values of Furla whilst elevating the brand to reach it’s full potential in this market. Through this partnership we have created an environment that references the brands heritage in Bologna whilst curating the modernity and relevance for which consumers today have an insatiable appetite.”f3
