Cirque du Soleil’s beloved production Corteo has sparked a wave of enchantment at Melbourne’s John Cain Arena. Playing until Sunday, 31 August 2025, audiences are welcomed into a dreamlike carnival as Mauro, a clown, imagines his own funeral unfolding in a tender, whimsical procession overseen by caring angels.

The performance dazzles with a captivating array of acrobatics and theatrical flair. Expect aerial chandeliers, trampoline‑like nets, Cyr wheels, ladder handstands, aerial straps duets, and a playful helium dance—all staged on a unique central platform that splits the audience, inviting spectators to face one another and heightening the immersive magic of the experience.

Tickets remain on sale and due to popular demand, several extra performances were added—ensuring plenty of opportunity for theatre-lovers to catch this spectacular show before it concludes its Melbourne season.

Corteo is a lyrical and joyous celebration of life, memory, and artistry—woven together through stunning visuals, acrobatics, and emotional storytelling. With performances wrapping up at the end of August, now is the perfect moment to secure a seat and experience this mesmerizing spectacle for yourself.
