Last Thursday marked the launch of Cheap Thrills with a music, art and fashion-fuelled party at Hasti Bala, the new space in Melbourne’s Carlton Hotel.

Inspired by his love for music, former Vicious Threads designer Ivan Gomez created a label for those who get a thrill out of life’s simplest moments. Cheap Thrills provides stylish, edgy clothes which won’t break the bank.

To celebrate the label’s launch, guests rocked out to live music from acts including Owl Eyes, Alpine, City Calm Down, Jordie Lane, Strange Talk DJ’s, I OH YOU DJ’s and Rob Pix. Some of Melbourne’s best illustrators created pieces for next season’s collection, live around the venue, allowing guests to experience fashion and design from a unique perspective. Guests were also able to purchase directly garments on the night at the on-site pop up shop.

Check out the Cheap Thrills website for more information on this exciting, emerging label.
