The holy grail of skincare products is one that will not only stop the signs of ageing, but reverse the damage already done. Philosophy have developed a reputation for creating medical grade products, packaged and priced for the everyday consumer. Their latest offering, Time In a Bottle, not only promises to reverse the signs of ageing you can see on your skin, but will also treat the damage which isn’t visible on your skin’s surface.

How does it claim to do this? The ingredients you need to know are DNA renewal complex and Vitamin C8. The DNA renewal complex promotes your skin’s natural renewal and protection process, treating and reversing signs of ageing.

The potent Vitamin C anti-oxidant is a powerful ingredient which helps protect the skin from environmental aggressors and further DNA damage. While Vitamin C is an important ingredient, it can lose its effectiveness after a few months. The clever people at Philosophy have found a solution to this by introducing a unique, fresh-pour system which allows you to activate the Vitamin C8 mixture in your own time to the DNA renewal complex, allowing you to maximise the effectiveness of the solution. They do this by providing the Vitamin C8 in a separate bottle with a little funnel to ease of pouring. You can then mix the two formulas when you are ready to starting using the formula. A staggering 95% of people testing the product saw a significant reduction in the visible signs of ageing. Now those are stats you can’t argue with!

I found the formula to be lightweight and non-greasy and easy to wear under makeup or applied just before bed. Applied daily, I saw a change in the appearance of my skin after only a couple of days. The surface of my skin looked smoother and felt tighter. Makeup went on easier and fine lines looked less pronounced. As an added bonus, the serum is paraben free, so there is really no excuse not to give it a try!
