Im Lingerie, Australia’s luxury lingerie, sleepwear and swimwear retailer has opened its luxurious new boutique at Melbourne’s Crown Entertainment Complex. For almost 30 years, the name im Lingerie has been synonymous with luxury. For the launch event at Crown last Thursday, guests were treated to three Avant Garde runway shows in three curated themes: ‘Innocence’, ‘Desire’ and ‘Romance’, presented by the unique and live sounds of The Raah Trio.
Guests were treated to an amazing show, with models participating in the three vignettes dressed in amazing lingerie in a range of colour palettes to suit the themed vignette. The parade featured award winning pieces from Paladini, which was awarded “Creator of the Year” at Paris’ Salon International de la Lingerie. Some of the world’s most coveted lingerie and sleepwear labels were also showcased: Lise Charmel, Aubade, Ritratti, Parah, Christies, Naory and La Perla.
The first show ‘Innocence’ featured brassieres and undergarments in soft colour palettes for both men and women.
The second, ‘Desire’ raised the notch in colour and heat, with a variety of ensembles in more bold colour palettes of red and blue.
The final vignette ‘Romance’ raised the bar with bold golds and luxurious black detailed pieces and capped off with a beautiful white piece that floated across the stage. Models dressed with eye masks, made the finale a set to remember.
