Last week marked the launch of ELEVEN Australia, the newest name in hair care. Founded by two-time Australian Hairdresser of the Year, Joey Scandizzo and multi award winning fashion and beauty photographer Andrew O’Toole, ELEVEN Australia will change the way you look at hair care. Made in Australia and owned by Ozdare, ELEVEN Australia is a cool and affordable range of products, which is simple to use and will actually deliver what it promises.

“As a stylist who still works in a salon and runway shows, I felt the need for a range that my customers and stylists could understand. Hair care doesn’t have to be complicated, it just needs to work.” It’s this no fuss attitude that quickly won ELEVEN Australia fans when it released its debut product MIRACLE HAIR TREATMENT in 2011.

In fitting with its trendy aesthetic and brand, ELEVEN Australia celebrated its Melbourne launch in the dimly lit Rokeby Studios in Collingwood. Fluro lights, pumping music by DJ Vitz, hot dogs, Cheeky Rascal cider and Happy Lab jelly beans encased in containers that looked like test tubes, created an edgy vibe.

The highlight of the event was the live photo shoot by Joey Scandizzo and Andrew O’Toole. Some of Australia’s top models worked the hottest hair trends in fashion and beauty for the crowd and camera. In a smart move, guests were encouraged to Instagram the photoshoot, with the best photo being awarded a year’s supply of ELEVEN Australia products.

Who better to design a range of shampoos, conditions, treatments and styling products that work, than one of Australia’s top hairdressers and an award-winning photographer? ELEVEN Australia makes quality hair products accessible to everyone, without the excessive price tag.
