Last night was the official launch of Tsen’s new Autumn/Winter 12 collection, hosted by designer Adam Tsen at new restaurant Shu on Johnston Street in Collingwood.

Well known for its flattering silhouettes, form fitting lines and beautiful materials, Tsen’s latest collection definitely impressed, the standout piece being a Gwyneth Paltrow-esque cape. With guests able to purchase their own piece of the Tsen collection on the night, the collection almost sold out!

Guests were treated to Yarra Burn Premium Cuvee NV, Yarra Burn Cuvee Riche NV and Yarra Burn Premium Cuvee Brut, the perfect compliment to the amazing canapés served by head chef Shu Liu.

Shu created a special range of delicacies especially for the launch, including oysters with granny smith apple relish and black caviar, and mini quail sandwiches with cherry tomato and kiwi fruit berry.

Capi provided a range of refreshing beverages include ginger beer, juices and tonic water, and DJ Dynasty kept the crowd entertained, spinning tunes on the decks in a Tsen yak fur cape and custom headpiece by Danica Erard.

A contemporary dance performance was the perfect opener for models dressed in custom Tsen and Danica Erard headpieces who worked their way through the crowd, giving guests a close up look at the beautiful pieces.

Congratulations to Adam on a wonderful launch.
