Shoe fiends united yesterday as Nine West took over Melbourne’s Olsen Hotel penthouse for an exclusive preview of the label’s Spring/Summer 2015/16 collection.
The colour palette is predominantly muted this season, with blacks, nudes, greys and wearable metallics reigning supreme. Finishes are both matte and patent, with croc and snake leather adding detail and interest to classic strappy stilettos. Leopard print features heavily too, a print that adds a subtle point of difference to our classic Melbourne black ensembles.
Pops of colour can be found in digital floral and animal prints, emblazoned across feminine pumps, ballet flats and metal clasp clutches. Fringing played a key role, adding a luxe nomad vibe to sexy stilettos and desert rose ankle boots.
The hero piece of the new season? The Sari heel. Available in black, silver and gold, the Sari ticks every box.
