When looking to update your look this season, don’t forget about your nails!

Couturing brings you the top nails trends to try this Spring/Summer.

LEATHER NAILS

Seen on Alexa Chung at the British Fashion Awards, Nail Inc‘s leather nails are set to sell out instantly when they go on sale on 13 December. The Bling It On-Leather & Skulls kit comes complete with a skull and crossbones for those wanting to add a bit of punk to their look.

SEQUIN NAILS

Seen on the runway at Dolce & Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli and Temperley, Ciate‘s sequin nail polish are the perfect bit of sparkle for the festive season. Each kit comes with Glitter Grip (clear polish) a pot of sequins and ‘Little Black Brush.’ Ciate’s sequin polish is available in 3 colours, Harlequin (primary multi-colour mix), Super Duper (golds, coppers and greens) and Tutu (pinks, purples and reds).

VELVET NAILS

Taking inspiration from the runway, Ciate has created an amazing range of polishes which gives nails a matte texture which looks and feels like velvet. Available in 3 colours, Mink Cashmere, Berry Poncho and Blue Suede, each kit includes polish, crushed velvet powder and a dusting brush.

GRAFFITI

Nail Inc’s Graffiti polish uses a range of glitter of different shapes and colours to give your nails an edgy look. Best on light colour polishes to make the colours pop, these nails would be a great addition to a bright party outfit!

MATTE FRENCH MANICURE

If you are a fan of the french manicure, here’s a new way to update this classic look this season. For a new twist, rather than using a classic white, try a darker shade of pink on the tips of your nails. Opt for a matte polish rather than a glossy sheen to give your polish a but of an edge.

DIP DYE NAILS

Like dip dye hair, dip dye nails are becoming popular with the fashionistas. Seen on the runway at Mara Hoffman, this trend is easy to try at home. Simply coat your nails in your favourite colour, then use a cotton bud dipped in nail polish to remove the bottom half, cleaning off less as you go up the nail for a graduated look. Finish off with a coat of clear polish.
