How do you prep before a night out?

I like taking a nice long spa, exfoliating, doing face masks, my nails – if I could take 20 hours to get ready I would.

What is your go to hairstyle/makeup look for a night out?

I usually let my hair do what it wants, and it usually sits quite nicely. As for makeup it’s always different – but I love big lashes and different eye shadow pigments. In particular I love purple eyeshadows and huge winged liner to exaggerate my eyes.

When you’re going out, what are your must have items in your bag?

I have to have my eyelash glue – just in case it starts to come off. But also the essentials like lipstick, lipgloss and concealer stick.

Do you have any tips for looking fresh all night long?

Rose water mist! I use the Kosmea one but you can even make it yourself – it’s so easy and affordable. It’s also a good idea to stay hydrated and to prevent a hangover, don’t mix your drinks. Since I wear a lot of heels, I rub some Vaseline on my feet at the beginning of the night to prevent blisters.

Your biggest fashion faux pas?

Before I was 18 I had no idea about fashion and I used to wear Gasp with all their shiny and frilly dresses. My guilty pleasure now is wearing low cut plunging tops – even though I can’t really pull it off. But if I think it’s cute I’ll still try it.

What designers are you currently loving and why?

I love Givenchy, I love that it’s so edgy and made for a younger generation.

Favourite places to shop?

I love shopping in the city especially now that the Emporium is there and you don’t even have to leave the centre. Other stores that I also love are David Jones for their wide variety of designer shoes and Marais.

Where do you look for style inspiration?

I love how Kim Kardashian dresses even though I don’t necessarily dress like her. I also love Vydia’s style too! Depending on what you have access to and what you can buy, I believe that ultimately it’s important to find what works for you and what you like.
