The hottest ticket in town this week is to the Peroni Nastro Azzurro Marquee at the Portsea Polo on Saturday. As supporting partner, Peroni will be offering polo-goers a chance to enjoy the match from a custom built ‘Italian Riviera’ style marquee with the main bar and viewing deck about 2m high providing the ultimate view of the field action. Gracing the marquee will be the Global Face of Peroni Nastro Azzurro, International supermodel Natalia Borges, who will be making her first appearance at the Portsea Polo.
We were lucky enough to catch Natalia to ask her what her best beauty tips were ahead of the Portsea Polo this weekend.
What are the top 3 things you do in your Beauty regime to prepare for an event like the Polo?
First, I’m Brazillian and love the sun so after showering I put on facial moisturizer with a 40SPF.
Next, I make sure that I have the perfect light and simple colored mani and pedi. There is so much color at the polo that I need my nails adaptable for any outfit. Finally I have the best lip gloss that keeps my lips moisturized all day long. The sun has a tendency to dry my lips and I won’t let it happen.
What are your favourite beauty products?
I love lashes!! Long and very dark!! and my favourite one now is Yves Saint Laurent’s Baby Doll.
How do you keep cool at the Polo?
The best way to stay cool at Polo is to wear the right hat. Luckily I have a beautiful collection because I collect hats during my travels, so I’m excited to wear my favourite one.
What’s one of the best things about being the global face of Peroni?
The shoot locations are so incredible and super cool. The Peroni team is super detailed and the brand spares no expense to get the production they want. Working with Peroni all around the world is exciting.
Aside from the Portsea Polo, what are you looking forward to in your visit to Australia?
I cannot wait to see the stained glass at the national gallery of Victoria. I’m obsessed with design and anytime my TV is on I can’t stop watching HGTV (Home & Garden Television – a cable channel in the US).
