Board-shorts aren’t generally thought of as fashion items, but Australian cult label Zimmermann has collaborated with Net-A-Porter to create an exclusive capsule collection of board-shorts. Featuring graphic floral prints from their summer swim collection, this makes it easy to mix and match.

“Working with a retailer like Net-A-Porter allows us to take the fun idea of our board-shorts capsule and present it straight to a global audience”, said one half of Zimmermann, Nicky Zimmermann. “It was something fun and playful that I came up with on summer holidays. We caught up with some of the team from Net-A-Porter and they loved the idea so off we went.”

This latest collaboration assists with Zimmermann’s strategy to expand overseas. The label is working on opening their second store in New York, which is set to be their biggest store globally. They also have plans to open further stores in the United States, the UK and Europe over the following two years, showing how this homegrown label has really become a fashion force to be reckoned with.
