As soon as you enter the Yoga 213 studio, you are filled with a sense of warmth, calm and are almost transported to Seminyak, Bali or Maui, Hawaii. If you ever need a time-out session from your everyday life, glide into the Yoga 213 studios for a class and your zen will be restored as it’s a gorgeous, soothing and totally zen hub. The same feeling goes for their latest creation, the Yoga 213 apparel range.

Yoga 213 was founded and opened by the lovely Sammy Veall in March, 2013 and since then, things have boomed for the studio and Sammy. The story behind Sammy’s journey to Yoga 213 is remarkable. After suffering third-degree burns to 35% of her body at the age of 21, Sammy spent over a month in hospital then chose to head to LA to work on making her acting dream come true. Sadly, the skin grafts and injuries Sammy sustained during the accident caused her to limp when walking, and the pain was unbearable; acting was unfortunately set to the side.

Craving the amazing feeling and endorphins exercise gives us, Sammy took Hip Hop yoga in LA, taught by Steve Ross, and quickly fell in love with the yoga style. Finishing up her time in LA, Sammy moved onto Bali for another month and it was here that she formed the idea for Yoga 213.

Two years later, here she is with Apparel partner and Designer Charlotte Grigg showcasing their fun and oh so comfortable yoga apparel!

Much like the studio, the 213 Apparel range is bursting with colour, life and chilled out vibes. The Bird of Paradise Long Beach leggings + T-bar crop are the standouts, with beautiful and happy shades of green, blue and orange/tomato red in a tropical tree pattern. Next in line for my faves are the Animal print leggings and crop, but the leggings paired with the To Be Happy Downtown Tee is absolutely SPOT ON. If I could wear this combo all day everyday, I would. Just having that Downtown Tee automatically makes me happier!

The Long Beach leggings in both Coral and Baja Blue are the perfect styles for everyday yoga, Pilates or even a run. Pair the Baja Blue leggings with the Happy High Crop in Navy and some Nike Roches, and you have an epic outfit for strutting your stuff alongside the  beach on a spring/summer day; think Brighton or Bondi, headphones in, sunnies on and smile BIG. The Ocean print is also wonderful, and the No Shoes tank in this pattern can easily be worn under a blazer with jeans and boots, as Charlotte did on the launch day. A perfect way to combine the comfort of yoga gear with everyday clothing. Another way to extend your wardrobe into various occasions.

213 Apparel’s men’s range is also a fantastic range that will have your boyfriend or mates looking cute and sporty all at once. I love the guys Brother Shorts in Grey Marle so much, I may actually need a pair for myself! There are so many dudes out there who head to Yoga or Pilates and must always be quite uncomfortable in their footy shorts, so why not get fitted out in Yoga 213 apparel.
