Give me a C, give me an O, give me a…well, you know the rest! At VAMFF Premium Runway presented by Cosmopolitan, fashion was served with a little more fun (and with one of the best finales this week!) Showcasing flirty, fashion forward favourite labels FINDERS KEEPERS, C/MEO COLLECTIVE, Shona Joy, The Fifth, and Wild Horses, we saw bright colours, bold prints, and a whole lot of covetable silhouettes.

Opening the show with a more muted colour palate, Shona Joy showed new takes on her famed silhouettes – midi skirts and dresses with leather detailing, oversize knit dresses, and separates that show just a little bit of skin. The new take on a leopard print was a highlight, as were the luxe metallic halter dresses.

Not as muted were FINDERS KEEPERS, ignoring the tradition of darker colours in AW with the first look completed with a look-at-me pink halter. Stripes, dark florals and that showstopping fuchsia made up the colour palate of the collection, with the shapes bold, leggy, and perfect for mix and matching.

Wild Horses spoke to the rock chic (emphasis on the chic) in the audience, with layers, leather, and attitude forming their take on this coming season. If Kate Moss at Glastonbury is your style muse, this is the collection you’ll be wanting to get your hands on (BYO muso boyfriend).

The Fifth took a more polished approach to sports luxe, with crisp whites complemented with bold primary colours, before segueing into print clashed separates. The relaxed shapes were juxtaposed with the polished prints, showing that fashion can be stylish and comfortable. Perfect for the girl on the go this winter.

The newly-revamped C/MEO COLLECTIVE was a pastel lovers dream. Creamy caramel knits and leather were complemented by soft blues in relaxed shapes, made for easy layering that looks effortless. Not as many prints were shown than in the past, save for monochrome geometrics, but the lack of pattern with made up for in spades by the interesting take on shapes and fit.

The visual delights weren’t just left for the collections, with the models returning to the catwalk with giant letters spelling out COSMO – easily the most stylish tribe of cheerleaders around.
