Premium Runway 5 (2)

Premium Runway 5 presented some of the hottest fashions from designers including Shona Joy, Thurley, White Suede, Keepsake and Finders Keepers.

The look, Night time winged eye, created by Rae Morris, Priceline Pharmacy Makeup Director focused heavily on creating the focus on the eyes.

To create the look, Rae used the following steps and products.

Step 1: Apply a dewy foundation, L’Oreal Paris Lumi Magique Light infusing foundation, to create creamy shiny skin.

Step 2: Highlight with the luminiser, LUMA by Jess Hart Illuminating Highlighter in Natural Pearl, along the cheek bone.

Step 3: Apply Revlon PhotoReady Creme Blush Number 100 to cheek bone

Step 4: Apply a silver eyeshadow on the inner corner of the eye, with minimal blending away from centre of the eye. Rae used MODELS PREFER Black Eyeshadow Palette.

Step 5: Use a fine line pen, L’Oreal Paris Superliner Superstar Eyeliner, in black on outer third of eye tapered to a small flick at the end of the eye.  Finish the eyes with a creamy coloured pencil, MODELS PREFER Magic Multi-Purpose Pencil in Silke on the inner rim of the eye.

Step 6: Apply lots of mascara, L’Oreal Paris Telescopic Mascara, and comb through any areas that become stuck together.

Step 7: Leave the brow natural, fill any gaps if required.

Step 8: Keep the lips neutral and matte.

Tip – Apply eye makeup first, so if there is any fallout around the eye area from the eye shadow, you can easily clean up with a cleanser, than apply foundation.

For hair, Priceline Pharmacy Hair Director, Kenneth Stoddart, created a ponytail to complement the makeup look.

Step 1: Add extensions into your hair to give it body and fullness.

Step 2: Blow dry the hair in sections from the bottom to the top and pin each section at the root as you go.

Step 3: Once complete, take out the pins and brush the hair through.

Step 4: Starting at the front, brush the hair back off the face tightly into a very neat low ponytail. Secure with an elastic.

Step 5: Wrap a cloth headband over your hair and secure just underneath the ponytail to finish.

Keith used Schwarzkopf products to create the look including Schwarzkopf Extra Care Heidi’s Heat Styles Protection spray before blow drying, Schwarzkopf Extra Care Strong Styling Hairspray to hold hair in place.
