Always looking for interesting ways to present his label Tsen, designer Adam Tsen took fashion and art to a whole new level with his exhibit Tsensory, showing as part of this year’s L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival. Tsen collaborated with fashionable Melburnians to create an exclusive outfits to suit the style of each individual, while maintaining the Tsen aesthetic. Select outfits were style with shoes from Medium-Raw, Tsen’s accessories label. Each subject was then shot by Tsen with the images going on display at Shu Restaurant in Collingwood. A video was also made showcasing each individual during their shoot.

A launch event was held to launch the exhibit, where guests were treated to delicious canapes made by owner and head chef Shu, refreshing mocktails served in scientific beakers and music by DJ Dynasty. The images of each individual were displayed on the walls of Shu, and the video played in black and white on the stark white wall, providing a unique sensory experience for guests.

In an industry where emerging labels are struggling to stand out, designer Adam Tsen is making a name for himself, not only for his beautiful garments and luxe fabrications, but also the creative ways he is promoting his designs.
