When you’re a new mum, it’s sometimes difficult to know what is good for your little one when it comes to skincare. There are thousands of products on the market making it very confusing at times! Stretched to the Limit: Pregnancy & Post Natal Body Cream
This cream was very moisturising and easily absorbed into the skin. It was also very easy to massage into areas of skin that had stretched during pregnancy and to maintain its suppleness. It can also be used all over the body, not just areas of skin that had stretched. The scent was subtle yet pleasant.
Baby bath gel with organic lavendar and chamomile
The baby bath gel was a pleasure to use in baby’s bath. It was moisturising and didn’t irritate baby’s skin, even eczema areas. The fragrance was subtle yet soothing and only a little bit of the bath gel was necessary for each bath so the product lasted a long time! We also used the gel in the shower both on the baby and on ourselves!
Natural Body lotion with organic avocado oil
This body lotion gentle yet very hydrating on baby’s skin. It was quickly absorbed and didn’t leave any residue. The product can be used for the whole family not just for bubs!
Barrier balm
The barrier balm was very good for dry skin and helped to make the baby’s skin smoother. It was used for particularly dry areas such as the nappy area and cradle cap. The results were fantastic and would definitely recommend this product. It also doubles up as a lip balm for mum! A definite favourite out of the products tested by Ellie and Stephanie.
