The Olsen twins are expanding their fashion empire by launching a new capsule collection.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have collaborated with Scandinavian retailer Bik Bok to create a high street diffusion line, allowing you to grab a slice of their vintage-inspired cool for less; unfortunately, only if you live in Norway or Sweden.
“We feel the collection reflects our personal style and will connect with the Scandinavian girl,” Mary-Kate Olsen said on the brand’s website. “We’ve enjoyed the design process with the Bik Bok team and are excited to visit Oslo and Stockholm to launch the first of three collections in August,” Ashley added.
The twins, who are behind hugely successful labels The Row and Elizabeth and James, have unveiled the first of three collections for the European retailer. The inaugural collection, modelled by Australian Julia Nobis, mixes the twins’ own grungy-glamorous aesthetic with the luxe basics that their label The Row is famous for; think layers of jersey, chiffon, angora and leather, and oversized accessories galore.
