Simon Crowe, Grill’d Founder and MD, says, “We’re incredibly proud to be opening in Melbourne CBD’s premiere fresh casual restaurant strip, helping make our healthy burgers even more accessible to the burger loving Melbourne public. This is a dream come true for me, and a testament to all the hard work of the Grill’d family over the last decade”.

Since opening its first restaurant in Hawthorn in 2004, the healthy burger expert’s philosophy has remained unchanged in its focus: to Make Burgers Good. As a forerunner to the burger revival, Grill’d has remained passionate and dedicated to its cause with a focus on using the highest quality, freshest ingredients, sourced from Australian suppliers, to taste good and do you good. “We’ve come such a long way, never standing still and always producing something that we’re proud of…..we’ve been able to transform the view of burgers and make them a legitimate food offer when they were once not thought of that way” Crowe says. “We are proudly Melbourne born and bred, so can’t wait to provide locals, workers and tourists alike the opportunity to dine with us and enjoy a healthy burger, famous chips and local beers and wines.”

Grill’d has continued to revolutionise the burger market with the recent launch of the Low Carb SuperBun, allowing more people with dietary and lifestyle needs to enjoy burgers in a premium and healthy way. Grill’d Flinders Lane will continue to evolve the Grill’d experience with a contemporary and modern restaurant design, new service model and also a few little secret menu items for the locals to discover.

The unique fit out of the multi-level glass windowed location was designed by Melbourne architects Architecture + Interior Design, features an elaborate stalactite inspired lighting feature and wallpaper installations to match as well as street art by Melbourne street artist, Daisy Legs who have produced a bespoke urban mural donning the walls of the new restaurant. This reflects the relaxed nature of the restaurant and is keeping with Grill’d and its national commitment to local artists.
