PIDAPIPO LAUNCH ‘COPPA GELATO’, NEW SUNDAE RANGE

Make your way to the CBD this weekend as Pidapipo launch ‘Coppa Gelato’, their new Sundae range, it’s pretty sweet and comes in four delicious flavours, why stay for one when you can have them all?

Created by Lisa Valmorbida, the new dessert range will be exclusive to its CBD store and is destined to be the perfect dessert ahead of the warmer months. It’s Pidapipo’s take on the classic Italian sundae. “There’s a Gelateria in Vicenza where my grandparents are from that make sundaes using simple ingredients, nothing fancy. There’s nowhere in Melbourne really to get these so I had to create some,” said Lisa.

There will be four unique flavours on the Coppa Gelato menu, including Banana Split, Ultra Fragola, Classico and Caramel Malt and each has its own unique taste and features a classic mix of Pidapipo gelato (with the likes of Fior Di Latte, Chocolate and Salted Caramel) topped with homemade whipped cream and a cherry on top.

Pidapipo Sundaes will also be available to dine in and take home from the CBD store for $11 each. With the full menu below:
Ultra Fragola – Fior di latte gelato, fresh strawberries, whipped cream, strawberry sauce
The Classic – Chocolate gelato, vanilla cream, chocolate fudge, nuts, cherry
Banana Split – Fior di latte gelato, banana, chocolate fudge, crushed peanuts, chocolate fudge, cherry
Malt Crumble –  Salted Caramel gelato, malt crumb, whipped cream, caramel sauce

Pidapipo CBD is open from 11-11pm daily and is located at 8 Degraves Street, Melbourne, 3000
