Celebrated Australian illustrator Kerrie Hess has lent her hand to this sweet project for luxury French macaron house, Ladurée. Available now, a unique Kerrie Hess illustration will adorn the luxurious Ladurée macaron boxes, embracing the Sydney skyline and featuring her iconic Shopping Girl in signature tones of pink and green toting Ladurée shopping bags. The collaboration with Kerrie Hess and the launch of Australia’s very own flavour of macaron follows the recent opening of Ladurée’s second Australian store in Sydney’s leafy Woollahra. The 111 Queen Street Woollahra store joins Westfield Sydney which opened in 2012.

Commenting on the collaboration, Kerrie says: “I have such fond memories of visiting Ladurée while I was living in Paris; my home was just one metro stop away from the Champs-Élysées store. To be asked to create an original design that was fashion- forward and true to the Ladurée aesthetic while celebrating my country was such an honour and an opportunity I simply couldn’t pass up”.

Kerrie Hess illustrations have been featured in VOGUE, Tatler and Harper’s Bazaar magazines and she has also drawn for countless fashion labels, billboards and book covers around the globe.

The Kerrie Hess ‘Sydney’ Ladurée gift box is available from 11th May for $36 for a box of eight macarons, and will be available for purchase at both Westfield Sydney and Woollahra stores.
