400 GRADI LAUNCHES AT ROCHFORD WINES
In an exciting move, two celebrated brands, 400 Gradi and Rochford Wines, have come together to create a new offering in the Yarra Valley. Set to open in late October 2018, 400 Gradi – Yarra Valley will offer a traditional Italian cuisine, complemented by an authentic winery experience. 400 Gradi Founder, Johnny Di Francesco, and Rochford Wines Owner, Helmut Konecsny, both agreed it was time for the Yarra Valley to have a taste of premium Italian food to accompany the Red 5 Star Winery.
Creating this new venture together is set to delight customers with a line up of delectable food, paired brilliantly with premium wine, from two respected names in the food and beverage industry.
The menu, curated by Di Francesco himself, will showcase the award-winning Margherita Verace Pizza, along with an array of additional pizzas and mouth-watering antipasto dishes, pastas, sides and desserts. While indulging in the delicious Gradi offerings, guests can whet their palate with an abundance of Rochford Wines world-class wines. From its highly acclaimed 2017 Single Vineyard Isabella’s Chardonnay, to its ever-popular 2018 Estate Rosé, each wine has been carefully selected by Rochford Wines sommeliers to perfectly suit each dish.

COCA-COLA RELEASE NEW RANGE, COCA-COLA BATCH BLENDS
Coca-Cola Australia has announced the release of a new range, Coca-Cola Batch Blends. Designed to appeal to discerning adult palates, the two sophisticated flavour duos can be discovered at an exclusive range of bars, hotels, cafes and restaurants, offering a touch of indulgence when socialising with friends.
Bringing a dark and mysterious edge to the Coca-Cola classic, Coke Batch Blends are available in two distinctive flavours – Caramel and Coffee and Coffee and Chocolate. Both combine a refreshing Coca-Cola taste with a blend of real coffee from Brazil, in a range of perfectly-paired flavours, with no sugar.
Coca-Cola Batch Blends are the latest in a line of successful recent flavour innovations from Coke in Australia, including Coca-Cola Orange No Sugar, Coca-Cola Raspberry and Coca-Cola Ginger.
“Coca-Cola Batch Blends are the perfect little reward after a long day or whilst celebrating special moments,” said Ms Austin. “However, you’ll need to keep your eyes peeled as we’ve chosen a limited selection of venues where Batch Blends will be ranged.”
Coca-Cola Batch Blends flavour combinations are perfect as a standalone treat, a delicious mixer, or served in a creative cocktail. The range is available in 250ml cans in a selected bars, hotels, cafes and restaurants.
YAGIZ LAUNCHES LUNCHTIME MENU
South Yarra’s modern Turkish restaurant, Yagiz, has opened its doors to lunchtime passers-by on bustling Toorak Road with its Turkish Canteen lunch menu.
See Yagiz in a different light, as Head Chef Murat Ovas plates up an approachable, laid-back version of the bold flavours diners have grown to love from his evening menu.
- Balik ekmek: blue mackerel, isot aioli, sumac onion – Blue mackeral sandwich
- Sardalya: fried sardines, ezme, lemon – Fried sardines with Turkish ezme
- Sebze kizartmasi: padron pepper, white zucchini, yogurt – Roasted peppers with yogurt
- Kuzu kofte: lamb kofte, tomatoes, cacik – Lamb kofte and pita bread
