Cult skincare brand, CeraVe, has introduced its newest cleansing innovation to the Australian market – the Hydrating Foaming Oil Cleanser – a gentle, lipid-infused cleanser that efficiently cleanses and provides moisturising comfort to the face and body, lasting beyond the shower. Formulated with CeraVe’s iconic three essential, skin-identical Ceramides, the new Hydrating Foaming Oil Cleanser,  developed with Dermatologists, also combines plumping Hyaluronic Acid and, as a CeraVe-first, skin-similar lipids: Squalene Oil and Triglyceride. As lipids make up a major part of the skin’s natural barrier, these plant-derived ingredients help to lock in and maintain moisture for supple, flexible skin.

While cleansers that contain oil are often overlooked when searching for a suitable solution to remove excess oil from the skin, CeraVe’s unique formulation is specifically designed to dissolve and remove excess sebum from the skin, which in some cases can contribute to acne if those oils build up. This gentle cleanser dispenses as an oil, which then transforms into a foaming lather when massaged into the skin. The transformative solution is ideal for the whole family – including babies – and is optimised for normal to very dry skin, and is suitable for sensitive and atopic-prone skin for use on the
face and body.

In recent years, cleansing habits have become more frequent, making it more important than ever to choose a cleanser that will help maintain the natural skin barrier and avoid stripping away naturally occurring skin lipids. CeraVe’s Hydrating Foaming Oil Cleanser pairs an effective, yet gentle, foaming cleanser technology infused with essential Ceramides, to efficiently cleanse while providing lipid-infused hydration for healthy-looking skin. “CeraVe’s new cleansing formula includes Amino Acid cleansing technology, which provides effective cleansing whilst respecting the skin barrier. It also delivers an oil component for maximum hydration to the skin with skin similar lipids such as Squalene and Ceramides.” says Rachel McAdam, Medical Communications Manager at CeraVe

In line with the existing CeraVe range, the Hydrating Foaming Oil Cleanser is free from fragrances, soap and parabens and is pH balanced, non-comedogenic, and is allergy and ophthalmologist tested. Like all CeraVe products, it showcases patented MVE Delivery Technology to provide 24-hour hydration. Post-cleansing, it should be followed with a CeraVe moisturiser to provide the ultimate hydration, protection, and skin barrier support. The new cleanser joins CeraVe’s existing range of cleansers developed with Dermatologists, including the Hydrating Cream-to-Foam Cleanser, Hydrating Cleanser, Foaming Cleanser, and SA Renewing Cleanser, offering solutions for a range of skin types and skin concerns.

The entire CeraVe range is available nationwide on the shelves and online at Chemist Warehouse.
