Spring summer sees a change in the air for Gary Bigeni’s contemporary line, Bigeni Basics. The in-demand designer translates his maverick personal style of calculated chaos into the new offering which makes way for an exhilarating evolution of the brand.

Designed for men and women who embrace a relaxed approach to their individual style, Bigeni boldly mixes a myriad of prints and fabrications for the coming season.

Focussing on transeasonal dressing, Bigeni applies his mastery of structure and form to man-style tailoring, exaggerated silhouettes and easy-to-wear dress forms expanding a collection of polished and playful everyday looks.

Leopard printed cottons are juxtaposed against lightweight chambray, the signature stripe is reimagined and morphed in monochromatic hues, and an unlikely partnership reveals an exclusive pop polka-dot print.

Collaborating with Sydney based painter and street artist Takie, art and fashion collide to create an energetic crisp white and eye-catching turquoise update to a pattern held so dear by Bigeni.

Garnering an ever-growing following across Australia and overseas, a touch of the designer’s infectious personality this season seems key to continued success.
