Summer’s heating up: Adelphi’s pool sessions are back. Adelphi Hotel’s iconic rooftop will once again play host to a series of weekend pop-up pool sessions.
Until the end of January, Melburnians can cool down with a cocktail by the impressive 25-metre pool that juts out over Flinders Lane, complete with a glass bottom. It will be the last chance for rooftop lovers to experience the famous Adelphi pool before it undergoes a total refurbishment in February.
Om Nom Kitchen & Dessert Bar bartenders will serve a range of retro cocktails and drinks featuring the summery taste of Pimms, as well as the brand-new Om Nom Frosé and Hibiscus and Vanilla Margarita complete with infused tequila.
Adelphi Hotel Managing Director Dion Chandler said the team has put a new spin on the menu in preparation for the pop-up pool sessions, serving delicious summer-style drinks.
“It’s been cold for far too long in Melbourne and we’re ready to celebrate the sun – kicking back Adelphi-style poolside with tunes and a drink in hand,” he said.
There will be a DJ spinning tunes from 1pm-5pm each session, guests can also borrow a towel for the day for $5.
Pimms Pop-Up Pool Sessions start at 12pm every weekend till the end of January*. Capacity is limited, so make sure you book to steal the best poolside position.
