Ferguson Plarre’s iconic Tiddly Oggie is turning 30, and to celebrate, more than 10,000 mini Tiddly Oggies are being given away at Ferguson Plarre stores across Victoria on Friday 23 June. Kicking off from 11am, all Ferguson Plarre stores will be giving away a Mini Oggie with every purchase, until sold out. Tiddly Oggie is Cornish for ‘proper pastie’, and Ferguson Plarre’s version, featuring hormone-free beef, onion, carrot and potato, is one of the bakery’s most popular products. The mini Oggie is a tasty snack that always pleases.
Ferguson Plarre’s Bakehouse CEO Steve Plarre said it was a fun way to reward its loyal customers and celebrate. “We’ve sold more than 20 million Tiddly Oggies since we first introduced them to the Victorian market in 1993,” Steve said. “They’re one of our most popular items, and from one classic style we now sell three varieties across two sizes.
“On Friday 23rd June more than 10,000 customers will receive a perfectly crisp, lip-smackingly good mini Tiddly Oggie, with those making a purchase from Ferguson Plarre on Uber Eats during the promotion also receiving one of the delicious savoury treats.”
