Fans will know him better as the brooding Jon Snow from TV mega-hit Game of Thrones, but now British actor Kit Harington can add another title to CV as he was announced as the face of Jimmy Choo’s Autumn/Winter 2014 campaign. In a move that is sure to make many women around the globe very happy, Harington will star across all of Jimmy Choo’s men’s collections including the inaugural Men’s fragrance, Jimmy Choo Man, as well as shoes, bags and the introduction of men’s sunglasses in partnership with luxury eyewear brand Carrera.
Speaking about Harington’s appointment in the role, Jimmy Choo Creative Director Sandra Choi said “Kit perfectly embodies the Jimmy Choo Man. He has a natural and alluring masculinity and an effortless sense of style. His cool attitude and smouldering sensuality belie a true British gentleman.”
Harington said of his new role “I was very excited to be chosen as the face for such a highly regarded brand and to play a role in defining who the Jimmy Choo man is.”
Harington will officially launch Jimmy Choo Man, their inaugural fragrance in September after the success of their women’s fragrances, contributing to their Men’s portfolio of shoes, bags, small leather goods and eyewear.
