summer-tan

As the winds turn chilly and the inevitable arrival of winter approaches, to make myself feel better as the days become shorter and the light fades earlier, I’ve taken to getting the occasional spray tan to help my psyche ease into the new season.

Admittedly, I never used to be a spray tan fan but after trying out the Summer Tan spray tan, I’ve been hooked. The thing I love about this particular tan is that you come out with a nice golden hue. I have never understood how people turn out orange. Perhaps it’s because they spray too much or because of the tanning mixture? I’m not sure why you’d want to walk around  town looking like an oompa loompah, but maybe it’s because they haven’t discovered Summer Tan!

The wonderful thing about Summer Tan is that it’s organic. I think it’s one of the reasons why you don’t end up turning a funny orange colour – and I can vouch for that given I’ve tried the medium-dark spray. The other thing I love is that you don’t end up smelling like, what my friend once described, as a bucket of fried chicken. The smell is a fragrant coconut smell that lasts for a couple of hours.

As with other spray tans, preparation is vital to ensure that your tan is even and that you don’t get any streaks from dry skin.

So as we head into winter and you need a bit of a pep up, get yourself a Summer Tan to get an instant glow that will make you feel like you’ve been to Hawaii and back!
