With a father as a hairdresser, I have become quite the hair product snob. Luxurious quality is something I was accustomed to and snubbed anything found on supermarket shelves. So when given some Kevin.Murphy products to try out, I gleefully accepted.

Having very dry and brittle hair due to it being coloured ever since I can remember, I always look for shampoo and conditioners to nourish and revitalise my hair.

Kevin.Murphy’s Hydrate-Me.Wash did just what it promised.

It is a smoothing and hydrating shampoo that disguises damaged hair from causes such as over-processing, harsh weather conditions or hair that is naturally dry. It works by deeply nourishing hair and eliminates split ends. It is packed with antioxidants such as Kakadu Plum, native to the Northern Territory. This fruit has the highest known amount of natural Vitamin C, which aids and helps maintain hair’s lustre and elasticity. It also contains Vitamin A to smooth the hair’s appearance, shea butter, evening primrose oil, and many more to sustain a healthy, glossy look.

Results of the shampoo are improved if you follow the product with Kevin.Murphy’s Hydrate-Me. Rinse. It contains similar ingredients to the shampoo, with one exception, Micro Algae. This super ingredient is a stress manager for the hair. It also makes hair become more radiant and adds luminosity.

One of the most important factors in a conditioner is the detangling property the product contains, so that combing through your hair is a painless and easy task. Hydrate-Me. Rinse left hair feeling silky smooth with the ease of running a comb through it.

After shampooing your hair, use the conditioner, leaving it on for 1-2 minutes and then rinse for lavish feeling hair, making you feel like you’ve just stepped out of the salon.

With a multitude of shampoo and conditioners on the market all claiming to fix the issues hair can face, Kevin Murphy Hydrate-Me. Wash and Rinse lives up to its name and delivers the results your hair requires.
