We, at Couturing, rejoice at the launch of Australian owned products. Our latest discovery is boutique makeup brand Curtis Collection By Victoria. This professional quality range is loaded with mineral products, which utilise potent natural ingredients to create a flawless look whilst helping to nourish and improve skin.

The Curtis Collection is luxurious but surprisingly affordable. All products are geared towards “making women glow”, which means the collection is hydrating, brightening and nourishing. Whilst there is ample coverage from foundations, plus a fantastic concealer range that really lasts, there are no heavy or cakey products in the range which helps women achieve that “signature glow”.

The range has something for everyone, yet it is small and simple enough to direct women to what they need, without over-complication.

My personal favourites from the collection include: The Mineral Photo Touch Concealer ($33) Which comes in three shades that suit mostly everyone. I fell in love with this concealer and it now has taken place of all the other concealers in my makeup bag. I found that the product brightened my under eye and also minimised the look of fine lines, due to its light diffusing formula. I found the consistency was creamy enough to blend well and cover, but not so creamy it felt greasy. I powdered to set, but felt as though, if necessary, it would set on its own. I love that it boosts hydration to the area, and helps aid the signs of ageing with added vitamins and antioxidants, which we all need.

The signature Lipstick in Vassie ($30). This lipstick glided on easily and remained moist throughout wear. The colour was intense and lips looked like an explosion of colour! The website claims that the lipstick will protect, plump and condition your lips  which I found it did indeed do. Once I removed the lipstick my lips were smooth and not dried out. The lipstick comes in 18 colours, which means there are plenty of colours to choose from.

Spot number three goes to Goddess Collection – Baked Blush in Bombshell ($35). Another winner. This blush is highly pigmented so you only need a little. It has a soft shimmer throughout so cheeks glow, just like a goddess. The formula makes skin look fresh and plump, due to the illuminating particles. The blush is also enriched with Vitamins C and E to hydrate skin. It is a truly radiant product.

Try for yourself, or give the Mineral Photo Touch Foundation ($59), The Brow Styler, Brow Definer Superwear ($30) or the Baked Bronzer ($49.95) a go!
