On Thursday one of Melbourne’s best kept hidden secrets, Marais held a launch for the Puma x Hussein Chalayan ‘Urban Mobility’ Collection. The event was held in the stunning Marais boutique which has been fitted out with parquetry floorboards, high ceilings and beautiful glass display cabinets. Hussein Chalayan, world-renowned fashion designer and PUMA Creative Director, fused classic shapes with the modernity of technical sport detailing: mesh panels, lightweight nylon, and Tyvek to create a range of unique pieces sure to catch the eye of any fashion lover.
Chalayan combined his signature silhouettes and intricacies of form and function, with the ease of PUMA’s sportwear. The ultimate in Sports Luxe, the Husein Chalayan, Puma collaboration is the perfect mix of clean, methodical lines with eye catching fashion touches like on trend colours and statement elements.
To celebrate the collection, black macaroons and specially created cocktails made with puma berries were on the menu.
